The last time I saw Miss. K. she was curled up and asleep in her Christening finest at just a few months old. So sweet and beautiful, and now almost a year later, she has celebrated her first birthday and …

is exploring on her own and ready to take over the world. =)  (still with some of my most gorgeous eyes I have seen.)

It was so nice seeing you again C. Family. I always enjoy our time together with Miss. K. Enjoy your sneak peek and I will be in touch soon.

Announcing fall mini-sessions later this week! Check back for details or find out even quicker by “liking” us on Facebook!

Best,

Michelle

Carol C.: Precious little one with beautiful blue eyes. You captured her personality. Love the photo with the pink hat!

beth: Gorgeous photos Michelle! She is a cutie pie.

Laura: I remember her. She's so beautiful. Great photos!

…this is the life of a almost 2 year old.  Always moving, never stopping, on their time schedule and curious about everything.  It is such a delightful time to capture for parents. =)  Especially in the case of Miss. A. who is going to be a big sister in a couple of months.  I have not had the pleasure of seeing Miss A. since she was a fresh baby herself, what a sweet little lady she has grown up to be.   It was wonderful seeing your family again and I look forward to documenting the arrival of the baby in a few months.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I believe that image of her on the side street says it all. =)  Total independence.

Thanks for letting me share! Make sure to “like” us on Facebook to keep up with all the news.

Michelle

Coloring Pages: I enjoyed this. Like your blog design too.

Is not an easy task! Believe me. Just because I am a professional photographer does not mean my children know or care about this fact.  I do not photograph them as much as I used to, somewhat because they complain, somewhat because we are busier and then there is the part of me that has to face how much they are growing when I see them in photographs. (oh sappy Mommy.) Of course then I get that call or email from my Mother complaining she does not have any recent photographs of her grandson’s which helps get me back on track. (Sorry Grammy.)  My New Years resolution and goal this year was to document my family more and spend more time photographing my children when they were not expecting it. I failed. Big time. Ha! However, this summer has allowed me many more opportunities to capture my beautiful boys.  On the 4th of July at a family bbq they were feeling some brotherly love and I was right there with Nikon in hand to snap it. It is a rare moment indeed that I both witnessed and captured it but all around but makes my week!  (I’m pretty sure they were whispering fart jokes but I do not care. =)

The first face is what I normally get from my sometimes very serious seven year old. He is logical, full of interesting facts and loves to debate however if he lets his guard down his smile is the best.  He has become very hard to photograph. However if I let him give me a pop quiz on a topic he is into he will chat forever. I believe he was testing my knowledge of mountain heights here. Not exactly my area of expertise and he loves showing his Mommy how much smart he is than I.

If you are lucky enough to meet my five year old you know he is full of laughter, smiles and silliness. He wakes up each and every day completely cheerful with a “good morning Mommy I love you!”  He loves to be photographed by my cell phone however not so much by the “big” camera – go figure.  In order for me to get great connection I say “tell me a story.” I believe he was telling me about pirates in a sea of macaroni and cheese to get these great expressions. Try it on your kids. What will make them connect with you to get that wonderful shot?

Just a little Mommy gush today.

I am honored again this year to be nominated for Nickelodeon’s Parent’s Pick for Philadelphia Family Photographer. So if you get a chance, I would love your vote! Thank you!

blogging to make money: Gorgeous photos! Beautiful.

Carol C.: These pictures are wonderful and I love how you captured their different personalities. I vote every day (for you) and YES, Grammy needs some updated photo's :) <3

Chrissy: Love these shots, especially of them together! Simply incredible.

Kim J.: Your boys are so handsome. I voted!

I do not get to photograph older children very often. That does not mean I do not like to I just am normally contacted by parents of younger children and babies. I love this age, I do not have to run after kids but I do have to spend more time getting them to think I am funny (I like to think I am funny =) Thank goodness potty humor gets them every time! Sharing a session I did a few weeks ago but got lost in the sneak peeks that never happened due to summer craziness and loss of power. I am showing off some black and whites today. I do not know if it is the heat but it makes me seem cooler. =)

I would like to think it was me who made them laugh so candidly here, but I think it was their Mom. ha!

Thanks for stopping by!

Best,

Michelle

Carol C.: What beautiful children! You can tell they are siblings. Love all the shots, but esp. the first 3.

admin: Thank you!

Kim J.: Love these! Your black and white photos are always full of personality and soul.

Whew! It was a hot weekend. Even hotter for some of us who didn’t have power for a few days. We are fully restored here and hopefully most of my friends in the area are back on. It is no fun on 90+ degree days with no air conditioning. That storm was nuts. I am just so thankful no one was injured. Amazing!

I am posting a sneak peek for the N. family whom I had the pleasure of meeting  in Rittenhouse on Saturday morning. It was a lovely morning for an photo session.  I think I made a new friend with Mr. B. as I appreciate the love for all things motorized as well, especially trash trucks and motorcycles. =)  He is such an adoring big brother and loved to give his sister sweet kisses.

Thank you so much for having me out! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Best,

Michelle

Carol C.: Beautiful photo's and gorgeous kids! Love the shot of them together.

Kim J.: What a beautiful brother and sister, I love him kissing her. Precious!

Julie: Seriously cute!! I think these are just beautiful portraits - great session!

Chrissy: Wow, they are beautiful kids and simply amazing photos!

Rhonda Stark: such sweetness! love your color and the b+w's .. so light and airy!

admin: Thanks everyone!

Apologies…

June 15, 2010

to all my blog readers for my lack of posting, blogging and general photo sharing. I can not believe it has been over two weeks since my last blog post. Apologies all around! Summer has come, my boys are home and family time has increased of course – I am still scheduling sessions and delivering beautiful memories to my lovely clients. I would love to catch up on some sneak peeks (no longer sneak peeks since Mom and Dad have seen their galleries -ha but new to my faithful blog readers.)

I do have a small announcement. Just a small one.

We will be expecting a new arrival in the Lindenmuth family in late November! Yes, I am expecting baby #3 and we are over-the-moon excited!

So we can pile that excuse onto my other excuses why my blog has been woefully neglected. =)

In addition to catching up on posting I will be adding a calendar for fall photo sessions in a next couple of days. My clients know I normally take Holiday clients until the end of November which will not be the case this year but I plan on being able to schedule all of you in before I take maternity leave. Feel free to email me or call me know to get those dates planned well in advance.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Need some ideas for the kids? So far this summer my boys and I have checked out:

www.kidsbowlfree.com — sign up and take your kids to bowl for free. If your kids are anything like mine they have a short attention span for bowling so since it’s free it works perfectly!

http://pleasetouchmuseum.org/ have you been there yet? Why not? It is the best place in Philly for kids of all ages. Dad’s get free admission on Father’s Day too! Check it out.

http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/summer/ Outdoor concerts at Rose Tree Park. We have been going for years. The kids love it!

http://www.nps.gov/inde/index.htm Have you played Philly tourist lately? A couple of weekends ago we took the boys downtown and did the tour of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. We even did a carriage ride through Society Hill and listened to the StoryTellers. It was a fun experience playing tourist for the day. Even though I often do photo shoots in Old City/Historic/Society Hill areas it was great fun experiencing it from the other side.

I will be posting more ideas throughout the summer. Have anything neat you have checked out with your little ones? Please email me or post in comments. I would love to feature it (and check it out myself.)

Thank you so much for reading! I will be posting again soon.

Best,

Michelle

As soon as I found at the librarian at my son’s school was pregnant with triplets you know I had to approach her for newborn photos. Three newborn babies at once – yippee! Well these three sisters were a joy to photograph. Not only are they the cutest little peanuts but they slept almost the entire time — seriously over an hour and a half while I moved and posed them. I am lucky if I can get that kind of cooperation from one newborn let alone three newborns. But enough about how happy they made me let’s see how happy this sweet trio of sisters makes you today.

How many piggies is that? =)

I love the smirk.

Little babies in hats. Love.

We were wrapping up the session and Mom was taking them one at a time for diaper changes. These two just curled right up together. No posing from me, just loving their sisters.

Thank you so much M. family for letting me share in this special time with you. It was amazing to meet your beautiful daughters and share them with everyone.

Best,

Michelle

Carol C.: Cuteness X 3.... love the 1st shot and the adorable "piggies".

Bramblee: Absolutely beautiful Michelle!

Tara: I just cannot believe how beautiful the photos are... Thanks so much, Michelle!

admin: Thank you all. I'm so glad I could do this. - Michelle

Laura S.: Stunning work as usual, Michelle. The first image is a work of art.

Chrissy: Incredible work Chelle...precious and beautiful girls =)

Vanessa Bontempi: Michelle, those are breathtaking!!! I hope you can submit them for a contest, because I think they'd win!!! If you are EVER in Altanta, please let me know (I don't know if you remember me from the June Jungle Gym).

Maria: You did an awesome job! Thanks so much for capturing such precious shots of my cousin's triplets!

Julie: WOW - you are right - getting one baby to sleep is one thing but three...lucky you! And you created some really beautiful portraits of this trio! Lovely

Jana Sheets: Awesome pic's!!!!

Anna-Karin: What beautiful little babies. That first capture is is just stunning, took my breath away!

TaraMc: Wow! These are breathtaking. You make it look easy which I am sure it is not. Amazing work Michelle. You rock!

Anya Coleman: So cute!!! Love newborn shots!

Shannon: all pictures are just beautiful , but I had to comment on the first one....wow. Just about brought tears it is just gorgeous!

alpana: omg! Michelle. You did a fabulous job with these. Mom must be over the moon!

It was a pleasuere meeting the D. Family and their lovely daughter. They introduced me to a great part of the city that I have not have the pleasure of shooting clients in before, the Northern Liberties section of the city. The Northern Liberties Piazza and surrounding area was a great setting for a morning of family photos. Many things to occupy the elusive, fast walking two year old kind. =)

Even Baxter, the family dog  joined us. He is a rule breaker but oh so handsome and you know I am not partial to beagles or anything. ;-)

A family session would not be complete without a rendition of “wheels on the bus”…

Thanks again!

Best,

Michelle

Carol C.: Great photo's... love the "attitude" in the 1st shot and the B&W's.... love the dog too!

Paige: SO cute! I love the one of her playing in the water. And the dog - what a rebel!

Kelly D: Darn cute subject (OK she's mine). We love the sneak peek and can't wait to see more!

alpana: what a cutie! love the first one of her.

Chrissy: Love the last pic of the family...really captures the moment!

Cecile: Serious "squeeing" going on here in Vermont! I can't wait to show Helen - she is so crazy about her cousin! They're all so beautiful.

TaraMc: Love these! What a fun energy throughout. Baxter next to that sign cracks me up. Great job!!

Big brother, big sister, Mom and Dad were all very excited to introduce the newest member of the family to me. She was very sweet and the love that surrounds everyone is so obvious. I enjoyed the time I spent photographing and getting to know your family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! I will talk to you soon!

She was so awake and alert at the end of our session so we got to see her beautiful blue eyes!

Thank you for stopping by!

Best,
